Halloween Costumes

I love Halloween, and the creative opportunity it affords me to make costumes for myself, my family, and my friends. Below are several examples of costumes I have made over the years.
- 1999: Britney Spears (“…Baby One More Time”)
- 2000: Britney Spears (“Oops!…I Did It Again”)
- 2001: Ace Ventura, Lola (from the Copacabana) and Harry Potter
- 2002: Domokun
- 2002: Scooby Doo (Fred and Daphne)
- 2003: Pirates of the Caribbean (Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann).
- 2004: Towelie (from “South Park”)
- 2004: Spaceman Spiff (from “Calvin and Hobbes”)
- 2004: Stupendous Man (from “Calvin and Hobbes”)
- 2004: Super Bowl Halftime Show (Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake)
- 2005: Zoltan Cult (from “Dude Where’s My Car?”)
- 2005: Elf (Buddy and Jovi)
- 2007: (Award-winning) Blades of Glory (Fire and Ice routine)
- 2008: Bun in the Oven (to announce our pregnancy), which was store-bought, and a prescription bottle of Viagra (made by me).
- 2009: Peter Pan (Wendy Darling, Tinkerbell, Peter Pan)
- 2010: Dora the Explorer (Diego, Boots, Dora, Swiper)
- 2011: Monsters Inc. (Sulley, Boo, Mike)
- 2012: The Little Mermaid (Flounder, Ursula, King Triton, Ariel)
- 2013: The Incredibles and their nemesis, Syndrome
- 2014: Clockwise from top left: Sgt. Calhoun, Wreck-it Ralph, Fix-it Felix Jr., and Vanellope von Schweetz
- 2015: Our family teamed up with another family to be the entire cast of Disney/Pixar’s amazing movie, Inside Out.

- 2016 Bonus costume: David S. Pumpkins and beatboxing skeleton
- 2017: Our family, including our exchange student, dressed up as the characters from the Lego Batman Movie: Joker, Lego Batman, Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Robin, and Phyllis the Brick Lady.
