Invitations, save-the-dates, a wedding website, programs, a guestbook, a wedding album… this is kind of stuff a graphic designer loves to do. It’s even more satisfying when the client is yourself.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) hired IDSI to develop a career path guide for its management-bound employees. As the Graphic Lead, I oversaw the production of the manual from start to finish:
- I created the manual’s design concept and necessary graphics.
- I used desktop publishing software (Microsoft Publisher) to lay out the 182-page manual and insert all copy and images.
- I edited the copy for readability, spelling and grammar.

I worked for the Mine Action Information Center (MAIC) at JMU during my junior and senior years and did anything and everything for them. In December 2001, the MAIC co-sponsored a conference in Miami regarding Mine Action in Latin America. In addition to assisting at the conference, I wrote summaries on presentations and pieced together the 300+ page bi-lingual proceedings. I also put together the accompanying bi-lingual website [website no longer active].
The Mine Action in Latin America conference proceedings are available for review during the interview process.
I also designed covers for various conference proceedings and published documents.
